At Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) concentrating in Public Relations, she does not worry about succeeding or failing but doing her best in the process. 
Eager to learn, gain new experiences, and be present in the world, Caitlyn is constantly seeking new opportunities. Whether traveling, volunteering, or learning, she is up for something intriguing that can lead to discovery. Caitlyn has experience with customer service, creative thinking, and social media, giving her transferrable skills to leverage in the future. She has been a server in the food industry, a dog washer, and has had other delivering jobs which require conflict resolution and adaptability. Caitlyn once traveled to Jacmel, Haiti, to participate in a mission trip with her church building schools and making meaningful connections with kids. We were able to teach them some math and English and provide donations of medicine and clothes. This experience resonates and grounds Caitlyn, knowing there are many around the world less fortunate with tangible needs to be met.
Caitlyn is learning and developing public relations skills such as writing, graphic design, social media, and strategy that will help lead her to achieve her goals and strategies. Building an expanded presence on LinkedIn has increased her excitement about seeking professional internships and jobs. Caitlyn's education path continues while putting 100% effort into everything and becoming ready to take on any task.
